The Lower Hudson Region Media Arts Show is back! And will take place virtually online this year, in lieu of an in person show. This year, student work will be showcased on our Website and through a press release. We will send more information about the show publication date soon.
For those of you who have not participated before, the Lower Hudson Region Media Arts Show is a unique opportunity for students to exhibit and screen their media arts work and to see what their peers are producing. The show also allows Media Arts Teachers to network and collaborate on the judging of Exemplary Award entries.
Students who attend school in the Lower Hudson Region of NYS are invited to exhibit their work. Photography, Digital Images, Graphic Arts as well as Film, Video, Animation, and Creative Sound, are eligible media. If you have a question about a student works eligibility please let us know
Student 2D work will be collected via a google drive link and google entry form.
Student videos, films, animations and sound projects are to be submitted on our Filmfreeway website. Entry forms are located on Filmfreeway. We only ask students to allow us the right to download their films so we can create a show reel. (All rights remain with the creators).

We have also eliminated the fees this year for a more streamlined collection of artwork!
NYS SUMMER SCHOOL OF MEDIA ARTS is not accepting applications this year.
Judging will take place on or after February 18, 2022. Your input would be invaluable, and we encourage you to participate (remotely). Please let us know your availability by replying to [email protected]!
